Librarian Appreciation

“The most important asset of any library goes home at night – the library staff.” ~Timothy S. Healy

Have you ever walked into your local library and have been greeeted by your librarian? Maybe you needed help on research, and your librarian helped you? How about to find the latest book, you asked your librarian, right? Who’s the person who always answers the phone when you call the library, it’s your librarian.

Although, we’ve missed the National Library Week, you can still show your local librarian how much you love them! Or get ready for the next National Library Week, which has a Librarian Appreciation day in 2012 April 10th – 16th. Librarians are always there to help you weather it’s homework, using a computer, finding a book, librarians are always there to help you!

So the next time you’re at the library take some time and thank you librarian, because without them who knows what your local library would look like.
