Touch-a-Truck

So, you need an idea on how to get your name out in the community? Well first off, make sure it’s either cheap or it’s free. I did a Touch-a-Truck last summer with my library. It was free to the public and since my father sells Rosenbauer fire trucks, I was lucky enough to have a couple fire trucks on hand. Call your local fire department and see if they could bring down a truck or two and stay for a while and ask them to bring their equipment. This attracts kids of all ages, most kids have never been in a fire truck, so they are in awe when they sit in the fire truck. Here are some pictures of last years Touch-a-Truck and the truck that I might have for this year!

Make sure after the event has happened you send in a little write-up about the event to your local newspaper, and if anyone helped you out make sure you thank them!
