Have a Little Faith by Mitch Albom

Is it a command or a lesson? Actually it is the new book by Mitch Albom. Known for the The Five People You Meet in Heaven and Tuesdays with Morrie: An Old Man, a Young Man, and Life’s Greatest Lesson, Mitch Albom travels back and forth to his hometown in New Jersey to fulfill a promise to write a eulogy for his rabbi. Little did he know when he agreed to write, that his research would turn into an eight year journey.

Similar to his experience with Morrie, Mitch relationship grows with his rabbi, but as it does so does his relationship with God or should I Allah, or Buddha, or Yahweh? Mitch is forced to consider some of his basic beliefs. He needs to stop running and start participating- maybe in ways he hadn’t considered before. In an ironic twist Mitch gets caught up in a Christian ministry in his hometown of Detroit. While his rabbi comes to the end of his life, Mitch starts to begin his. Although financially successful, and citizen of the world, Mitch begins to realize what a truly important. And perhaps you will too as you read Mitch Albom’s Have a Little Faith.
